Chudamani Chaudhary, he belongs to tharu tribe - an ethnic indigenous people of terai region of Nepal. He comes from Sauraha, a village just outside Chitwan National Park, grew up immersed in one of the most biodiverse regions in the world. Surrounded by nature, he developed a profound passion for photography,birds and wildlife, which shaped his expertise in avian species and conservation.
He is a keen birder. He loves to share his knowledge and experience of birds and nepals wildlife. He has led many bird/ornithological tours in and around Chitwan, and all over Nepal. His great passion is that he loves to work. He has been doing this for well over 2 decades.

Chitwan National Park is home to a wide range of habitats, including riverine forests, sal forests, grasslands, and wetlands. This rich environment supports over 650 species of birds. Visitors can spot quails, francolins, ducks, woodpeckers, barbets, hornbills, bee-eaters, kingfishers, cuckoos, parakeets, owls, orioles, flycatchers, warblers, laughing thrushes, buntings, flowerpeckers, sunbirds, munias, minivets, bitterns, raptors, babblers, pipits, wagtails, weavers, etc.
The park is also a vital sanctuary for several endangered and critically endangered birds, including the Bengal Florican, Lesser Adjutant, Bristled Grassbird, Slender-billed Babbler, Great Hornbill, Egyptian Vulture, Slender-billed Vulture, and the critically endangered White-rumped Vulture.
The Sagarmatha National Park, with its alpine environments, is home to species like Nepal's national bird, the Danphe (Himalayan Monal), and the Snow Partridge. Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrival and briefing.
If it is early enough in the day, we can have a local walk from the hotel to stretch our legs and see some common birds.
DAY 2 - Birdwatching in Chitwan National Park
Jeep safari full day covering 3 types of vegetation, Lunch included
Upperdang Gadi is a hilly area in Terai, very rich in birdlife. This area is 45-60 mins drive from your hotel. There are options here to drive back to your hotel accommodation, to find a local homestay in the region or maybe to camp overnight. Please discuss when making booking.
We will spend each day hiking. Lunch will be provided.
More than 300 different bird species have been recorded in this region.
Day 5 - Bishazari Tal, also known as 20,000 lakes
This is a wetland area, an extensive oxbow lake system in the buffer zone of CNP. Full day birdwatching by jeep. Lunch is included and drive to Madi overnight in Madi Homestay
Day 6 & 7 - Madi (western part of CNP)
