Chepang Hills Trek - Siraichuli (3 Days / 2 Nights)

(Where Culture Meets Purpose)
Embark on a 3-day journey through the stunning Chepang Hill Trek, where adventure, culture, and purpose come together. Located just 80 km from Kathmandu in the Mahabharat Range, this trail is a hidden gem north of Chitwan National Park. It offers a rare chance to explore the traditional lifestyle of the Chepang people, an indigenous group known for their close connection with nature and semi-nomadic way of life.

During the trek, you’ll pass through untouched villages, stay with local families in cozy homestays, and experience daily life firsthand - cooking meals, learning customs, and immersing yourself in the culture. The route is filled with natural beauty, including forests of broadleaf trees, chirr-pines, and rhododendrons, especially beautiful in the spring. Birdwatchers will love it here, with over 238 species to spot.

The highlight is the hike up Siraichuli Hill (1,945m), the highest point of the trek, offering panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal Mountain ranges. A visit to the serene Sita-Ram Jharana Waterfall offers a peaceful break to connect with nature. With cooler temperatures than Kathmandu or Chitwan, this trek offers a refreshing escape.
